Deadline for Camera-Ready Paper Submission: Monday 27th of September

IEEE Xplore Camera-Ready Manuscript

The submission of the IEEE Xplore Camera-Ready Manuscript should be made in four steps:

1. FILL IEEE eCOPYRIGHT FORM FOR EACH PAPER

Suppose your paper has been selected for publication in SIBGRAPI-2022. In that case, the authors of the paper have to submit a Copyright Form, necessary for the inclusion of the paper in the proceedings of the conference, published by IEEE. This conference uses the IEEE Electronic Copyright Service (eCF). The corresponding author of the accepted paper will receive an e-mail with a Copyright Pending Notice, where they can find all the necessary information on adequately submitting a copyright form. Please note that the authors must obtain all clearances for publication. By filling in the form, they are stating that the material in their paper is original and have not previously released copyright for this paper and its content to another party. The paper cannot be published in the proceedings if the form is not completed correctly.

2. PREPARE THE FINAL VERSION OF YOUR PAPER

The Camera-Ready manuscript should have the copyright notice of SIBGRAPI 2022 at the bottom left of the first page. The copyright notice is:

978-1-6654-5385-1/22/$31.00 ©2022 IEEE

LateX users, just put the commands:
\let\thefootnote\relax\footnote{\\978-1-6654-5385-1/22/\$31.00 \textcopyright2022 IEEE}

After the \maketitle command.

MS Word users can use: Insert; Text box, insert the appropriate copyright notice in the textbox, and place the box (without border) at the bottom left on the first page.

This step might add an extra page to your paper, so be sure to re-format it to 6 pages.

3. CHECK WITH IEEE XPLORE COMPATIBILITY

Go to https://ieee-pdf-express.org and create an account (if you don't have one), then enter your email address and a memorable password, and the Conference ID 55357X. For each conference paper, click Create New Title. Enter an identifying text for the paper (the title is recommended). Click continue. Submit PDF for checking or Submit Source Files for Conversion. Indicate platform source file type (if applicable), click Browse, navigate to the file, and click Upload File. You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload. You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or the IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF. The email will show if your file passed or failed if you submitted a PDF for Checking. You can also get your checked PDF file at the Home Title Status section of the PDF eXpress site. If your PDF submitted fails the check: Submit your source file again by clicking Try again, Read the PDF Check Report, then click The PDF Check Report in the sidebar to get information on possible solutions, or Request Technical Help through your account. If you are not satisfied with the IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF: Resubmit your source file with corrections by clicking Try again, or if that fails, Request a Manual Conversion Through your account. If the PDF submitted passed the check: If the PDF passed, or you are satisfied with your IEEE PDFeXpress-converted PDF, submit your IEEE Xplore compatible PDF using the steps below.

4. RENAME YOUR PDF FILE FOR SUBMISSION

The acceptable certified file you receive from PDF eXpress will be given a filename in the form 2021123456.pdf. You should rename this file to conform to the naming convention: lastname-paperID.pdf, where lastname is the first author's last name, and paperID is the CMT paper ID assigned to the submission.

5. SUBMIT THE CAMERA-READY MANUSCRIPT TO CMT PLATFORM

  • Log into CMT;
  • Go to your Author Console at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SIBGRAPI2022/ ("Select Your Role" as "Author");
  • For your Paper ID, click on "Create Camera Ready Submission" under "Actions";
  • Follow the instructions to submit your Camera-Ready PDF eXpress compliant file to the IEEE Xplore Final Version (and supplementary materials). Be sure that the IEEE Copyright footnote was inserted at the bottom left of the first page (Step 2) and that the pdf you sent was approved in the PDF eXpress checking (Step 3).
